YORKTOWN — Yorktown’s Riverwalk Landing parking deck is back in business.

The deck, which was partially closed in May after a crack appeared in one of the structure’s support beams, fully reopened today after engineers determined that the damage was not structural.

Later this summer, the garage will partially close again for a cosmetic repair. Notice will be given for the repair closure.

In order to assess the structure, officials closed the upper level of the garage for several weeks while parts of the lower level were restricted. At the time, officials anticipated that use of the parking terrace would be restricted for at least 90 days.
