It has been over 20 years since Miguel Cabrera has been playing in Major League Baseball. Even after so many years, the Detroit Tigers legend plays with the same passion and dedication. Except for Albert Pujols, he is the only active player to smash over 3000 hits in MLB.

Apart from being an MLB veteran, Cabrera is a pure entertainer of the game. In a recent league game against the Cleveland Guardians, the Tigers slugger won the game with his walk-off hit. However, the major highlight of the game was Cabrera doing the iconic celebration of UFC star Conor McGregor’s iconic strut.

Debuted in the 2003 season for the Miami Marlins, Miguel Cabrera has been playing for the Tigers since the 2008 season. Irrespective of the result, he has always been a lone warrior for the Tigers over the years.

Though there are no heavyweights like the Yankees and Dodgers in the American League Central, teams like the Minnesota Twins and Chicago White Sox are doing wonders in the 2022 season. Whereas, the Detroit Tigers have been awful in the AL Central. With just 16 wins out of 44 games, they are currently fourth in their division.

However, the A.J. Hinch-led team registered their second consecutive win in the AL Central. Thanks to Cabrera’s walk-off hit, the Tigers defeated the Guardians by 4-3 in a close encounter.

Even at 39, Miguel Cabrera has 42 hits in the 2022 season. When he smashed the game-winning walk-off hit against the Guardians, he celebrated it in style. The Tigers legend did the famous strut in front of the home fans to celebrate the win.

Taking to Facebook, fans reacted to his celebration. Some fans claimed that WWE chairman Vince McMahon originally did the famous strut. “ I love how they called it the Conor McGregor strut openly admitted that he took it from Vince McMahon,” commented a fan.

Meanwhile, one fan commented that the Houston Astros’ Alex Bregman did it first in MLB. “ Learned it from all-star, World Series champ Alex Bregman,” replied an MLB fan on a Facebook post.

Even after 20 years of a professional career in MLB, Cabrera is in no mood to retire from the game. And considering his energy and hitting skills, he can still play a few years of baseball.
